How the Lord supplied...

It all began when all the other younger children (Mcs & ycs) went to another home and there was no other kids around. I still had Kelvin and/or Jason, (On Echo as well) coming over almost every Sunday, but still, the other 6 days of the week would sometimes get a little boring. So I started praying for a puppy as it is fun to play with and gives me a few more things to do. We then started asking several people in our subdivision if they knew anyone who was giving out labrador retriver puppies (The type the home wanted then) but no one seemed to know of anyone. So one family day, heading out, we stopped by a veterinary place and asked if they knew anyone selling puppies. They found someone selling half golden retriever and half labrador retriever puppies for P6,000 (equivalent to approximately $140) and gave us their phone number. We thanked the veterinary and continued out. When we got home I called the man the veterinary referred us to and told him we were missionaries and we lived by faith etc. and asked him if he could give us a puppy. The next morning JR (The man's nickname) texted us and told us he would give us not only one puppy but two puppies! (As one puppy can get bored all by itself) Then me and my Dad built a dog house and prepared the place etc. The next morning we picked up the puppies and gave him the "Prayer power" booklet. The morning after that, I told him (Via text) that he was the answer to my prayers, and he replied that Jesus answers our prayers in different ways, sometimes an immediate "Yes" knowing that it's the right time. Or a "Wait" for answering in His right time and, sometimes, a "No" and He gives us something better. I told him that the Lord answered me with an immediate "Yes" this time, through him. I'm so thankful that we got puppies and that JR was so helpful and sweet to give them to us for free! I'm sure the Lord will bless Uncle Jr. PTL for answering so quickly in just the right timing!

Gby all and keep going for Jesus!
PS: The pupppies are sick now, so if you could pray for them sometimes, that would be a blessing! GBY
